The 5th Annual Moore Hope Children’s Foundation Golf Tournament is a remarkable event featuring celebrities to raising money and awareness for at-risk youth. There are approximately 20,000 children under the supervision of the Department of Children and Family services in Los Angeles County. There are many more at-risk youth who have no stability in their homes nor opportunities for mentorship and positive peer interaction.
Moore Hope Children’s Foundation Golf Tournament was established to honor a friend, mentor, father and dedicated community leader – IRVIN DEMETRIUS “DEDE” MOORE who lost his battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's disease" in 2005. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. ALS is a disease with nearly 5,600 new cases in the U.S. every year. Proceeds raised by the Moore Hope Children’s Foundation will benefit at –risk children, youth sports programs, and ALS research.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for you to change the life of a child!
There’s no denying that a great cause sprinkled with celebrities produces a great event filled with marketing and networking opportunities.
